Prevent screen from locking

I'm not sure if this feature is present already but I couldn't find it. I'd like it to be possible to prevent the screen from turning off / locking when running. It's really inconvenient to unlock the screen when running.

To change the screenlock is not something that can be done in user apps in a generic way.
It is possible to keep the screen on constantly. Is that really what you want, buttons etc are exposed?

I'm not entirely sure what I want exactly. I would like to be able to see the real-time stats during my running easily. Perhaps, adding a possibility to keep the screen constantly on (buttons exposed) or creating a "screen-saver" mode which shows the stats but needs to be wiped before the buttons are exposed. Or perhaps something else? In any case, I'd like to have the stats visible either all the time or visible with very little effort (e.g., just touch the screen somewhere).

There's already lockcsreen notification with this data.
It would be nice to have possibility to configure data displayed on notification

I would suggest that use a specialized app to disable the lockscreen so you can view the phone easily. There is no general recommendation here, it depends a lot of the phone, one app cannot handle all.
I use Tasker+SecureSettings to disable the lockscreen when running app services are active.

I would like to have an (optional) button locker to not accidentally stop recording. (Preferably a combination of swipe and longpress to unlock.)

Configurability of GUI is a pain. But it could maybe be usedto display info on dumb smartwatches.
