Improved Paragraph Parsing
Behavior Change - When importing a document, only lines of text separated by one or more blank line will create a new paragraph. This behavior is consistent with line behavior specified by the Github Flavored Markdown spec.
Example - the following text will render into a single line:
hello
world
Separating the text with at one or more blank lines will render two separate paragraphs:
hello
world
Support for Hard Line Breaks
This release adds support for hard line breaks, which can be specified with either a \ or two spaces at the end of a line. In the Mark Sharp editor, a line break can be created with Shift+Enter. Additionally, a new setting mark-sharp.formatting.lineBreakStyle provides control over the type of hard break syntax used during document export.
Note: Many auto-formatters may strip off trailing spaces, so using a \ is recommended rather than double spaces.
Context Menu
A context menu has been added that can be accessed with either a right click or by highlighting a portion of text. The context menu allows for editing options such as changing text formatting and copy, cut, and paste operations.
Other Fixes
- Fixes an issue where opening a previously unopened document would scroll to the bottom. The viewport now stays at the top of the document.
- Fixes an issue where pasting into a non-empty line in a code block would cause skew and offsetting issues.
