Bug Fix

  • Incremental file write: The upload helper on the Pico now decodes and writes each base64 chunk directly to disk instead of concatenating all decoded data in RAM. This cuts peak memory usage by ~40%, preventing MemoryError when uploading files >10KB while modules are loaded.
  • Memory cleanup: gc.collect() before and after file writes; chunk list cleared immediately after write.
  • Better error messages: MemoryError during upload now shows an actionable message suggesting pico_ctl reset instead of a raw traceback.
