The icon stays where you put it. All runtime repositioning is removed — it turned out that recreating a status item in a crowded menu bar makes macOS insert it on the left, which is exactly what kept happening at call start/end. Placement now happens once, at launch (the "start at far right" toggle in Settings → Advanced); while running, JumpCall never moves the icon and your ⌘-drag always stands.

Update: brew upgrade jumpcall && jumpcall install (then re-grant permissions — see README Troubleshooting).
