Somtoday v0.1.8

Fixed Somtoday Login Helper callback capture for the live OAuth response, which includes an explicit :443 port. Login Helper 0.1.4 also observes all request types on the Somtoday login host while retaining strict callback validation. The complete Home Assistant to Somtoday login flow was verified in Chrome, and the automated browser smoke test passed in Edge. Issue #3 remains open while we verify that renewed sessions stay valid over time.

Somtoday v0.1.6

What's new

• Somtoday refresh-token rotation is now persisted immediately, before any data request can fail.
• JWT-shaped refresh tokens retain their original OAuth client ID when available.
• A bare HTTP 403 during token refresh is retried once; a repeated rejection starts Home Assistant reauthentication.
• The integration menu now includes Reconfigure, allowing credentials to be refreshed without deleting entities, options, or local planner data.
• Account identity is verified during reconfiguration to prevent accidentally connecting a different Somtoday account.

Updating

Update to 0.1.6 through HACS and restart Home Assistant. If the existing session is already broken, open the Somtoday integration menu and choose Reconfigure.

The Login Helper itself is unchanged at version 0.1.2 and is included again as a separate asset.

Related to #3. Please report whether the integration remains connected after at least one hourly token-refresh cycle.

• On a parent account every child showed every child's homework (#1). Somtoday returns all children's items from each homework call; each item is now requested with its students and only kept for the children it names — the same split Somtoday's own app makes. Fixes upcoming_work, open_homework and next_test. Items without a student list are kept for everyone, so single-student accounts never lose homework.
• Deprecation warning about device_registry.async_get_device (#2), which would stop working in Home Assistant 2027.8. The device lookup is now scoped to the integration's own config entry.

Somtoday v0.1.2

Een net gepubliceerde week wordt niet langer als acht nieuwe lessen gemeld. Scholen zetten het rooster ongeveer twee weken vooruit online, dus zo'n dag komt in één keer compleet binnen. Dat is het rooster dat gepubliceerd wordt, niet dat het wijzigt. Alleen lessen op een dag waar al lessen stonden tellen nog als toevoeging — een werkelijk ingelaste les wordt dus nog steeds gemeld.

De voorbeeldautomatisering logde een template-fout per wijziging per apparaat. Hij las c.previous, dat bij een added-wijziging niet bestaat; in Home Assistants templating is een ontbrekende sleutel een fout, ook als de omringende if het correct afhandelt. Het gebruikt nu c.get('previous'). De berichten zelf klopten altijd al — dit vulde alleen het logboek.

Somtoday v0.1.1

De kalender verliest geen dagen meer die je al gehad hebt. Het ophaalvenster keek een vaste dag terug, dus rond middernacht verdween eergisteren uit de agenda. Het reikt nu terug tot de maandag van de huidige week: de week waar je in zit houdt al zijn dagen en rolt pas door als de volgende week begint.

Dit verandert niets aan de meldingen. De wijzigingsdetectie negeerde lessen die al begonnen zijn altijd al, dus dagen die achteraan uit het venster vallen konden nooit een "vervallen"-bericht opleveren. Daar staan nu twee tests op die dat scenario expliciet benoemen — inclusief de tegenhanger: een les later vandaag die verdwijnt wordt wél gemeld, want de bewaking gaat over het verleden en niet over verdwijnen op zich.

Eerste release na het opschonen van persoonsgegevens.

De git-historie van deze repository is opnieuw begonnen. De oude historie bevatte de voornaam van een echt kind in een voorbeeldautomatisering; ter plekke herschrijven zou de oude commits via hun SHA bereikbaar hebben gelaten, dus is de historie vervangen door één schone commit. De code zelf is ongewijzigd ten opzichte van wat er getest en gereviewd is.

Geen achternaam, schoolnaam, account- of leerlingnummer heeft ooit in deze repository gestaan.
