AerioTV for iOS, iPadOS, & tvOS v1.8.1
AerioTV 1.8.1 (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV)
TV Guide navigation overhaul (Apple TV)
The guide no longer "gets away" from you:
- The focus highlight always stays on screen. Scrolling the timeline left or right carries the highlight with the visible window instead of leaving it stranded on an off-screen programme.
- Channel up/down holds a steady time column and never lands on programmes that already ended.
- The guide opens with "now" left-aligned next to the channel column, and re-anchors itself when you come back to it later - no more opening hours in the past.
- Menu still jumps to the top channel, and now also snaps the timeline back to now in the same press, so one button always brings you home.
- Channels without guide data show a selectable "No guide data" row again instead of being skipped by the remote.
Audio Sync
- New Audio Sync control in the player's audio menu (iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV): shift audio up to a second earlier or later in 100 ms steps to fix lip-sync on stubborn streams. Resets when you close the player.
Catch-up
- Programme windows are now sized from your guide's exact programme length, fixing clipped endings and previous-show tails.
- Paused catch-up sessions stay alive: the app keeps the server session fresh while you take a break, so resuming after a long pause no longer fails. (Both improvements need a Dispatcharr build newer than mid-July 2026; older servers are unaffected.)
