JT ArticleX PRO v1.0.18

This maintenance release improves Joomla WebAsset integration, Media List responsiveness, image filtering, structured data output, and compatibility with Joomla installations running from a subdirectory.

What’s New

  • Added responsive one-to-four-column support to the Media List layout.

  • Media List now respects the configured image ratio:

    • 16:9
    • 4:3
    • 1:1
    • 21:9

  • Preserved the horizontal Media List presentation when one column is selected.

  • Added responsive Bootstrap grid behavior:

    • One column on mobile
    • Up to two columns on medium screens
    • Configured column count on wide screens

Fixes

  • Fixed the Joomla WebAsset stylesheet URI.
  • Registered the module asset definition through Joomla’s extension asset registry.
  • Removed silent asset-loading fallbacks and broad exception handling.
  • Fixed oversized Media List images caused by the stylesheet not being loaded.
  • Fixed the “Only Articles with Images” option returning fewer articles than requested.
  • Applied image filtering before the database result limit.
  • Fixed Media List ignoring the Columns setting.
  • Fixed Media List using a hardcoded 1:1 image ratio.
  • Normalized Joomla null publish dates before rendering metadata and JSON-LD.
  • Improved absolute article and image URLs for Joomla installations in a subdirectory.
  • Clarified Atum administrator and Cassiopeia frontend compatibility notes.

Technical Improvements

  • Uses Joomla’s official WebAsset registration workflow.
  • Uses Joomla core Bootstrap grid, ratio and utility classes.
  • Does not include an external slider or CSS framework.
  • Keeps custom frontend CSS small and scoped to the module.
  • Maintains escaped frontend output and bound database query parameters.
  • Preserves template override compatibility.
