The compatibility artifact identifies the required desktop repository, branch, commit, and protocol version.
Known Limitations
- The extension authenticates itself to Frame; it does not authenticate the localhost Frame endpoint back to the extension.
- Another process running as the same OS user could attempt to claim Frame’s local port before Frame starts.
- These packages are not currently distributed or signed through the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons.
- Chrome requires loading the extracted package as an unpacked extension.
- Firefox requires temporary loading through about:debugging unless the package is separately signed.
- This release supports EVM browser integration only.
