HTML validation

Checked URL: https://storage.googleapis.com/trainermart-jose-p1/index.html

Tool: Nu Html Checker (vnu 26.10.2), checked by address

Result: Document checking completed. No errors or warnings to show.

The deployed index.html shell is valid HTML. React renders the page content in the browser after this file loads, so the checker is validating the document Vite builds and Cloud Storage serves, not each view after navigation.

Info messages (not errors)

The checker listed three informational notes. None of them are errors or warnings, and they were left as generated by Vite.

# Message Location
1 Trailing slash on void elements has no effect <meta charset="UTF-8" />
2 Trailing slash on void elements has no effect <link rel="icon" type="image/svg+xml" href="./favicon.svg" />
3 Trailing slash on void elements has no effect <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />

In HTML, meta and link are void elements. A trailing /> is allowed in the file Vite emits and does not fail validation. The notes only say the slash has no effect.

How to recheck

  1. Open https://validator.w3.org/nu/
  2. Check by address
  3. Paste https://storage.googleapis.com/trainermart-jose-p1/index.html
  4. Click Check

A green “No errors or warnings to show” line means the deployed page still passes.
