What's new

Worker monitoring for headless cursor-agent sessions — adapted from Therapie agent-bus for mcp-agent-bus.

Dashboards (repo root)

First public release of MCP Agent Bus: a local, event-driven MCP message bus for coordinating multiple AI coding-agent sessions on one machine (zero cloud infra — Node.js + filesystem).

What's included

  • MCP server (src/server.mjs) — bus_send, bus_receive, bus_peek, bus_broadcast, bus_read_broadcasts, bus_list_sessions
  • Mailbox core (src/mailbox.mjs) with unit tests (npm test)
  • One-command setup — ./scripts/setup.sh (deps, .cursor/mcp.json, Cursor rule)
  • Optional headless worker (src/worker.mjs) via cursor-agent
  • Documentation — full Quick start, use-with-your-project, troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Node.js >= 18
  • Cursor (or other MCP client)

Quick start

git clone https://github.com/josesuarezcordova/mcp-agent-bus.git
cd mcp-agent-bus
./scripts/setup.sh

Then reload Cursor and follow the README smoke test (two windows, two session names).
