Simple Focus Mode v0.4.0 - Release Notes

🚀 The "Phase 1" Update: Modernization & Polish

This release marks a significant milestone in our roadmap, bringing a completely refreshed "Liquid Calm" aesthetic and powerful new workflow tools.

✨ New "Cool" Features

  • One More Minute (+1): Need just a little more time to finish that thought? A new button appears when the timer is running to extend your session by 60 seconds without breaking flow.
  • Right-Click "Zone In": Instantly start a focus session from anywhere in Chrome. Just right-click on any page and select "Start Focus Session".
  • Theme Auto-Sync: The extension now automatically respects your system's Dark/Light mode preference—no manual toggling required.
  • Polite Notifications: We've updated the notification system to be less intrusive, respecting your focus state.

🌑 "True Dark" Visual Overhaul

  • High-Contrast Dark Mode: A redesigned solid black theme (#000000) for OLED screens and late-night coding sessions. All icons and buttons have been calibrated for perfect visibility.
  • Refined Layout: We've cleaned up the header and footer, moving settings to a more accessible location and reducing visual clutter.

🛠️ Under the Hood

  • Performance: Stripped back experimental code to ensure 100% local privacy and speed.
  • Reliability: Fixed visibility issues with the "Skip Break" and "Extension" buttons in dark mode.
