Breaking: the whole family moves to the user-global model (defined in MULTI-HARNESS-SUPPORT.md, summarized in docs/conventions.md), for Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, Cline, and Cursor:

  1. All tooling is user-global. Skills, rules, and workflows install once per user into each harness's global discovery paths via the agent-guided AGENT-INSTALL.md (clone / zip / gh, then copy). Install scripts are gone.
  2. All project truth is committed. DOX.md trees and root AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md anchors, .goal-ledger/ records, copied design/ artifacts, compose-helper.*, generated agentic tests — written by skills doing their job, never gitignored.
  3. Installs never write into projects — not even .gitignore. Globally loaded rules self-gate on project state.

Pinned toolkit releases: dox v4.0.0 · compose-helper v4.0.0 · goal-ledger v3.0.0 · agentic-tests v2.0.0 · playwright-fieldkit v2.0.0 · lazyway-io-design v3.0.0.

Global discovery targets were verified 2026-07-20 by live probes (codex-cli 0.144.6, Antigravity CLI 1.1.4) plus current official docs for Claude Code, Cline, and Cursor — Cursor needs no separate install target; it discovers the shared ~/.agents/skills/ copies natively.

Migration from v1: re-run each toolkit's install prompt once per user; old gitignored project adapters and marker ignore blocks in consuming projects can be removed manually (with review).
