0.3.1
A couple of book upload QOL additions and fixes.
- Add: Step 4 (Split step) - right-click menu now greys out what's currently selected 3cf4af1
- Fix: Step 4 (Split step) - Pages marked "Begin and split" would get dropped on page reload f32eef1
- Fix: Step 5 "Name each piece" now autosaves as you go b127b77
- Fix: Step 5 (Name each piece) - Misc capitalize button fixes a19652b
0.3: Waltz for Debby
Highlights from this version:
- Sort and Filter! At long last. No more tagging all that metadata just to get it lost in the library. Search, sort, and filter your pieces just right to unearth what you're looking for.
- True fuzzy search! Folk music catalogs rejoice. Typos and diacritics are no longer obstacles. If you have an existing library, run the
rebuild-search-indexCLI command to apply the fix retroactively. - The other practice statuses have been added to the sidebar.
- Book covers are the shape of the book, not masked to portrait.
- Book thumbs are now purged after import; since the pieces are generated too, the only thumb we need to keep from the book is the cover. Run the
cleanup-thumbnailsCLI command to reclaim space. - Various book upload fixes, including step 5's ("Name each piece") fields now autosave as you go
Next up, finally building out that composers page.

0.2: Tea For Two
Highlights since the last patch:
- IMSLP autofill! Enter the number (or have it detected in the uploaded file's name) and press the button to pull a few citation-relevant fields from the website. Don't worry, it won't touch the fields you've already set manually.
- Added Markdown support to piece and book description fields and also user notes.
- Leveraged existing emoji shortcode tooling (e.g.
) to add music symbol support to the Markdown fields. Crank it up to:ff:or down to:pp:as you wish. - Updated the wordmark! Now it looks like those lowercase letters belong with the capital letter. Mostly.
- Made the cursor "point" on various buttons and clickables around the app.
- Made the pinstripe "Saving..." animation actually work and not just freeze up for a frame or two.
- Various fixes and small improvements to the book upload process, from incorrect page cycler numbers to the loss of typed Piece info when you go back a step to correct a bad split.
Next update, I'm planning on adding proper Sort/Filter support.

0.1.2
I know, I know. Bad form to release another so quickly. Some glaring omissions and issues necessitated it though:
- Add: App-wide - Bundled sans font. Because some OSes haven't learned the value of including weights between 400 and 700.
- Add: Piece Library - List view - Practice status pills to pill row
- Add: Upload flow - Cancel buttons! Seriously, didn't even realize. My bad.
- Fix: App-wide - Lightbox wasn't on top of some fields
- Fix: Edit Piece modal - Page preview wrong size, reordered fields to flow better
- Fix: Backend - PDF thumb generation used mediabox instead of cropbox
- Fix: Footer - Rebalanced the footer
Promise I'll be more spaced out going forward.
