HyperForge 0.3.0-beta

Local-first macOS Hyper Key companion — Caps/Hyper automation, Space-layer navigation, window tiling, snippets, and Doctor. No cloud · no telemetry.

Highlights

  • Space navigation (TouchCursor-style) — hold Space for HJKL and edit/clipboard chords; tap Space still types a space
  • Per-app Space block list + optional hold threshold (Settings → Engine)
  • Doctor — Accessibility, Karabiner, Hyper style (F18 / 4-mod), F19/F20 bridges
  • Snippets with date formats · Shortcuts menu · region pin · single-instance
  • Config export/import (profiles, snippets, Space nav, prefs)
  • Optional local Ollama command bar with model-fit warnings

Requirements

  • macOS 14+
  • Karabiner-Elements for Caps → Hyper
  • Accessibility permission after first launch

Install (DMG)

  1. Download HyperForge-0.3.0.dmg below
  2. Open → drag HyperForge to Applications
  3. System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → enable HyperForge
  4. Karabiner → enable Caps Hyper rules (Doctor can install the pack)
  5. Menu bar flame → Doctor to verify

Gatekeeper / signing

This build is ad-hoc signed (not Apple-notarized). On first open you may need:

Right-click HyperForge → Open → Open

or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
