What's Changed

Update System

  • Fix update banner: Electron toolbar now correctly shows "update available" banner when a new version is published. Previously the CLI process consumed the one-shot update-notifier cache before Electron could read it.
  • CLI update notification: CLI commands now print an update notice to stderr when a newer version is available.
  • MCP auto-update: MCP server config switched from sidecar mcp to npx -y claude-sidecar@latest mcp so MCP clients always run the latest published version.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix update-notifier v7 ESM import (mod.default || mod) that was silently breaking all update checks.
  • Restore fold nudge overlay ("Tell Claude you're done with the sidecar").

Site

  • Marketing copy cleanup and MCP discovery card.
  • Updated footer layout.
