What changed

  • Schedule a separate start date/time for each of your three campaigns.
  • Uses the Mac’s detected time zone and shows the full date, time and zone before confirmation. Travel/time-zone changes do not move an already chosen start.
  • Keep the app open, the Mac awake with its lid open, and Messages connected. Settings → Keep Mac awake prevents idle sleep while waiting.
  • Pause or Stop disarms a scheduled start. Quit/restart always recovers paused for manual Resume. A start missed by more than 5 minutes pauses for your review.
  • Sender readiness, opt-outs, cooldown and business-hours checks still apply when the scheduled campaign runs. Dry Run still sends nothing.

InfinitumMassTexting-macOS.zip is the only required download. macOS 14+; Intel and Apple silicon.

Install or update

  1. Finish your campaigns, or pause and wait until sending stops.
  2. Choose Infinitum → Quit from the Mac menu bar.
  3. Download InfinitumMassTexting-macOS.zip under Assets.
  4. In Downloads, double-click the ZIP to reveal InfinitumMassTexting.app.
  5. Drag that app into Applications. Choose Replace if asked.
  6. Open the app from Applications. Existing data stays on your Mac. Unfinished campaigns reopen paused. Resume only when ready.
  7. In Prepare, enable Schedule this campaign for later, pick the date/time, then review and confirm to arm it. Each campaign has its own schedule.

Dry Run ON sends nothing. Turn it OFF only when ready for real messages. Send Test to Me is a separate live test requiring confirmation.

Optional: Contact-Import-Template.csv helps organize contacts; SHA256SUMS.txt is an advanced integrity check. GitHub’s “Source code” ZIP/TAR files contain the public website, not the Mac app. You do not need them.

Verification

57 automated tests passed, including scheduled waiting, cancellation, missed starts, readiness rechecks, time-zone/DST persistence, dry runs, crash recovery, and the existing three-campaign safeguards. Universal Release build verified; Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized for direct distribution outside the App Store. Messages acceptance does not guarantee recipient delivery.
