Learn about vigilant mode.
  • Add error_log() calls throughout sync process (always active, not just in debug mode)
  • Log every affiliate being checked and what action is taken
  • Log coupon creation attempts and results in detail
  • Add summary logging at end of sync with counts and details
  • This helps diagnose why sync isn't creating coupons when it should

The logs will appear in PHP error log (e.g., /var/log/apache2/error.log) Look for lines starting with "=== AFFILIATE SYNC" and "create_coupon:"
