IRIS Fieldwork 0.2.0 - IPM package candidate
IRIS Fieldwork 0.2.0 adds a complete IPM package for Linux IRIS 2026.2 in USER: the Python gateway, browser UI and authenticated runtime adapter. A foreground launcher accepts existing credentials through the environment or a hidden terminal prompt and serves loopback only.
The package checks ownership before updates/removal, refuses unmanaged classes and web apps, preserves changed files, and stages replacement files before swapping. It creates no accounts, credentials or demonstration fixtures. The existing Docker installation remains available.
Version 0.2.0 is published in the official community registry. A fresh consumer installed it using zpm "install iris-fieldwork -v", with only that registry configured and no application source copied. Four authenticated requests, four anonymous-denial checks and all eleven gateway routes passed, covering all six sections and 24 resource checks. See IPM.md for registry setup and launch instructions, and the production-registry verification for results.
Earlier validation includes 31 passing Linux launcher/filesystem tests, live authenticated and unauthenticated checks, conflict preservation, uninstall, export and a separate test-registry installation. See the lifecycle verification. The disposable consumers and VM were stopped afterward; the original instance and data were preserved.
This is an AI-assisted local prototype, not a production security boundary. Stop the gateway before package changes. No awarded bonus or prize is claimed.
IRIS Fieldwork 0.1.0 - local prototype
Initial public prototype of IRIS Fieldwork, a local operations workspace for InterSystems IRIS 2026.2.
- Six live views cover web applications, permissions, security and secrets, tasks, system telemetry, and logs.
- Reviewed commands support eligible task, web-application, role-resource and wallet operations. Audit and journal searches return bounded record metadata.
- Includes a pinned Docker image, a verified Linux Compose setup, demonstration fixtures and an owner/judge walkthrough.
Validation: the published source passed 110 tests; one optional vendor-specification check was skipped. Fresh Compose installation passed seven authenticated fixture checks and four unauthenticated-access checks. See the repository's validation records for scope and observed API differences.
This is an AI-assisted development prototype for a disposable local instance. Ports bind to loopback and the setup uses an administrative account. It is not a production security boundary. Docker Desktop on Windows and macOS remains untested. The README documents unsupported operations and verification limits.
Original source is MIT licensed; InterSystems IRIS retains its separate vendor terms. No contest submission, approval or award is claimed. The entrant's review and understanding remain necessary before submission.
