MikuDanceStudio v10.07

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Oct 05:47

Compared with v10.06, this release fixes the edge-thickness dialog crash and makes MSVC source encoding independent of the Windows system code page.

  • Fixed the x64 crash when opening View → thickness of edge line (#2). Edit-control callbacks now retain their full pointer width; slider, text-entry, and dialog lifecycle behavior have regression coverage. The same callback-width issue was corrected in the English-name dialog.
  • Added /utf-8 to MSVC C++ compilation (#3). Original Shift-JIS escape bytes are preserved, and code comments have been translated into English.
  • Unified x86/x64 runtime storage for dialogs, callbacks, clipboard buffers, selections, matrices, and lighting. Fixed light-color state synchronization and timeline selection-range handling.
  • Clarified the MIT license for project-owned code and preserved the original MikuMikuDance permission statement and disclaimer separately. Original extracted resources retain their original terms.
  • Removed obsolete development scripts and historical investigation documents, retained maintained diagnostic tools, and made small corrections to the English, Chinese, and Japanese README.

Windows x64 and x86 ZIP packages are provided with SHA-256 checksum files. Extract the entire package and keep the Data directory beside the EXE. MME is built in. Runtime requirements are documented in RELEASES.md inside the package.

Validation: the release workflow passed all 54 x64 and 53 x86 regression tests with no skipped tests. Both published ZIP packages were downloaded and checked for SHA-256 integrity, package contents, PE architecture, and embedded version 10.07.

MikuDanceStudio v10.06

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Oct 17:44

Compared with v10.05, this release fixes camera tracking, bone-pose editing, and option-dialog behavior, and improves source readability and formatting.

  • Restored the original Track camera reference-point selection, parent-bone rotation, and saved rotation-basis reset. Switching the selected model now returns keyboard focus to the main window.
  • Fixed mirrored bone-pose paste: recognize the original left/right name markers, match the opposite-side bone suffix correctly, and preserve the displaced target pose for undo/redo.
  • Fixed selected-bone pose reset: clear quaternion Z for parented bones and retain the original single-precision calculation sequence on x64.
  • Corrected the gravity dialog's X/Y/Z slider mapping and edit-subclass callback storage, including pointer-sized callback installation on x64.
  • Separated model calculation order from draw order, using the correct model field, raw slot indices, and English/Japanese model names.
  • Clarified control IDs, edit-mode and undo-state names, and moved bone-pose operations and independent dialogs into dedicated modules. Added clang-format configuration, VS Code save-time formatting, and a batch formatting/check command.

Windows x64 and x86 ZIP packages are available, each with a SHA-256 checksum file. Extract the entire package and keep the Data directory alongside the EXE. MME is built in; no separate MME proxy DLL is required. See RELEASES.md in the package for runtime requirements.

Release validation: all Windows Release regression tests passed, with no skipped tests: x64 52/52 and x86 51/51. This includes the bone-pose clipboard/reset and model-order/gravity-dialog regressions. Optional local ray.fx GPU tests are not configured in CI. The published ZIP checksums, PE architectures, and product version 10.06 were verified.

MikuDanceStudio v10.05

@github-actions github-actions released this 24 Oct 14:10

Compared with v10.04, this release focuses on frame editing and PMM state persistence fixes, along with cleanup of the code that reconstructs the original MMD behavior.

  • Fixed an issue where registering frame 0 again on the camera, light, self-shadow, or gravity track could corrupt the linked list of subsequent keyframes.
  • Fixed the field used to save PMM group expansion state and restored the camera reference mode correctly when loading PMM v2 files.
  • Corrected single-precision rounding in x64 bone position interpolation and reorganized frame seeking, copy/paste, and keyframe registration logic.
  • Replaced raw field access with named types for keyframe selection and redundant-frame marking, replaced handwritten assembly, and corrected architecture-dependent field access in Bullet diagnostics.

Windows x64 and x86 ZIP packages are available, each with a SHA-256 checksum file. Extract the entire package and keep the Data directory alongside the EXE. MME is built in; no separate MME proxy DLL is required. See RELEASES.md in the package for runtime requirements.

Release validation: all Windows Release regression tests passed, with no skipped tests: x64 49/49 and x86 48/48. The x86 trigonometric functions were compared against a frozen copy of the previous implementation on the same CPU; all 12 precision/rounding combinations passed.
