Updates, at your pace

• A quiet Update available button appears at the bottom of the sidebar when a new version is ready. Hide the sidebar and the button moves to the toolbar.
• Open the button to review what's new and choose when to install.
• Remind Me Later keeps the button available, even after you reopen Notex. Skip This Version hides it. The button clears after you update.
• Notex checks when it opens and once a day. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings > Updates.

Download Notex.dmg, open it, and drag Notex into Applications.
The ZIP contains the same app. Both downloads are Developer ID signed,
notarized by Apple, and include stapled notarization tickets.

Choose Notex → Check for Updates… to install future releases.

Notex now remembers that you’ve accepted the recording introduction. The shorter message explains audio storage and reminds you to get everyone’s consent before recording or transcribing.

Earlier versions did not save this choice, so you’ll see the introduction once more after updating.
