  • Updates itself. Melatonin now checks for new versions with Sparkle and shows a small badge in the menu when one is ready, or choose ⋯ › Check for Updates…. This is the last DMG you'll need to download.
  • Sharper agent detection. Melatonin reads Claude Code and Codex session logs, so long model replies, quiet commands and background subagents count as work, and it knows when a turn is really over. Agents waiting on a question for you don't keep the Mac up.
