Complexity Problem
The framework is fundamentally observer-centric: defining the observer uniquely determines the resulting physical dynamics. Because macroscopic, cognitive observers are computationally intractable to model directly, we introduce a structural decomposition hypothesis. We assume that any valid observer is composed of elementary substructures simple enough to simulate. Under this assumption, the probability density of observer emergence scales directly with the formation probability of its underlying constituent substructures.
