🆕 Assign a task by typing +. In a shared project, + in the composer title lists the people of the project, with their photo. +Anne gives the task to Anne, marks her in the title and fills the assignee chip.

🆕 Write subtasks the way you write tasks. In a task's panel and in the composer, a subtask line understands dates, repeats, p1, @tags and durations such as pendant 1h. A #project stays text, since a subtask always lives in its parent's project. Editing an existing subtask reads them too.

🆕 A fuller Share window. It says how the project is reached, lists you first, then everyone with a photo, name and e-mail. In a workspace project, a project admin gives each member the role of collaborator or project admin, or removes them from the project; everyone else sees the roles greyed out. The access level (restricted, team or public) opens as a menu, with the workspace's picture for Team. "Copy link" copies the project's address.

🎨 Fill in missing estimates from their card. In Notifications, Conflicts, a task without an estimate is a card like the others, with the Estimate field where the buttons are. The estimate is saved as you enter it.

🎨 Longer titles on board cards. A card shows up to three lines of its title and two of its description, as the list does.

🎨 Workspaces line up in the sidebar. A workspace's picture sits in the same column as the icons of its projects, and a workspace without a picture shows its initial.

🐛 Completed tasks show again in a project. With "Show completed tasks" on, a project page lists what you completed in the past year, not only what you ticked in the current session.

🐛 Tags starting with an emoji are applied. @🏡home in a title is marked, applied and removed from the title, like any other tag.

🆕 See future repeats in Upcoming. Recurring tasks show their forecast dates and estimated load. Dotted checkboxes distinguish forecasts; click one to open the original task.

🆕 See every search result. Enter opens the full results page, without the 30-task limit. Use the arrows to select a result in the search palette, or open matching projects, sections and tags from their coloured chips.

🆕 Rename a tag from its page. Edit its title and confirm with Enter. Tasks, favourites, search and display preferences follow the new name.

🆕 Type a time or a relative date when adding a task. 20h30 sets today or tomorrow depending on the current time; dans deux heures and in two hours schedule from now. Small bare values such as 2h remain durations.

🆕 Write durations in words. (deux heures), (one hour thirty minutes), for one hour and pendant une heure set an estimate. The recognised phrase is removed from the task title without adding a due date.

🎨 See when a duration is accepted. Enter normalises the value and shows a brief checkmark. A discreet pending or failure indicator replaces visible status text.

🎨 Insights follows your accent colour. The rounded button uses a soft version of your chosen accent in light and dark themes. It stays still when clicked.

🎨 Choose whether My Week includes today. Show Today tasks works independently of the Today sidebar entry. Hiding today’s tasks keeps earlier overdue work, and the sidebar count follows the filter.

🎨 Share the app with an updated preview. Links use a new demo screenshot and explicit preview metadata.

🐛 Composer controls work in Q and Quick Add. Fixed a regression that showed an unstyled “Nobody” control for Inbox tasks. Project menus now keep a bounded width, and tag results support the arrows and Enter.

🐛 Native team folders appear in the sidebar. Fixed the reported regression that left workspace projects outside their Todoist folders. Personal project folders keep their existing behaviour.

🐛 Lists and boards use the same page width. Fixed the reported width regression in list views. Task properties keep their rounded shape and quiet hover borders.

🐛 Acknowledged release notes stay closed. A stale settings sync can no longer bring back a release already acknowledged on this device. Release history is still available from Settings.

Your tasks first, shared projects together.

🆕 Personal views show your work by default. Today, My week, Upcoming, Someday, Review, the matrix, tags and the Dashboard show tasks assigned to you and unassigned tasks. Use Display to include colleagues or choose Everyone. Projects still show everyone, and search and saved filters keep their own scope.

🆕 Assign a task where you work. Choose a person from the task row, the open task or the composer in a shared project. Group and sort a project by assignee; adding from a person's group prefills that person.

🆕 Choose several workspaces. The Workspace dropdown can combine personal projects and team workspaces, with a clear Any reset. Its selection works alongside the assignee filter.

🎨 Recognise people at a glance. Assigned tasks show a profile photo or initials, with the assignee menu before the three-dot menu. Workspace pictures fall back to a coloured initial, and dropdowns stay inside the screen without pushing content down.

🎨 Cleaner Review, Dashboard and task controls. Review keeps its assignee filter beside Daily and Weekly. The Dashboard puts Edit layout, Display and Logbook together. Open-task fields use rounded controls and quieter hover states.

🐛 Upcoming only offers more days when there is more work. The button disappears when no matching tasks lie beyond the visible dates.

🐛 A month in the title becomes a date. Phrases such as “in a month”, “dans un mois” and “dans 2 mois” are recognised when adding a task, including from a dated section. Calendar months use the last valid day when necessary.

Todoist Enhanced 2.6.0

Quick finishes.

🎨 Dates in Todoist's colours. Red when overdue, green for today, orange for tomorrow, purple for the next seven days, no colour after that.

🎨 Long section titles wrap. A section name goes onto several lines instead of running off the page.

🎨 Long task titles wrap when adding a task. The field grows with the title, and the date, #project and @tag stay highlighted.

🎨 Q adds the task where you are. From Today it is due today, from My week it gets the week label, from a project it goes in that project, from a tag page it gets that tag.

🎨 Coloured chips when adding a task. The date, the deadline, the priority, the project and the tags show their own colour.

🎨 Neater task rows. The checkbox lines up with the title, and the title is a little bolder.

🎨 LinkedIn, X and GitHub links in Settings, About.

🐛 Coloured chips were grey. With "Inherited" chips in Settings, dates, projects and tags now show their colour again.

🐛 Skipping the tour opened the Setup. It no longer does.

🐛 "Add task" did nothing with no title. When everything typed is read as a date, a project or a tag, the button is now greyed out and says why.

Todoist Enhanced 2.5.0

Who can access a project, the Mac app within reach, and a sidebar that scrolls to the end.

🆕 Choose who can access a project. The New project and Edit project windows have a new "Who can access" choice: Restricted (only the people you invite), Team (everyone in the workspace, for workspace projects) and Public (anyone with the link can see it). A new project gets its workspace's default, and an existing project only changes when you change the choice. Todoist does not allow Public on every account: when it refuses, you are told and the change is not made. Moving a project to another workspace gives it that workspace's default.

🆕 Get the Mac app from Settings. The Mac app puts Enhanced for Todoist in its own window and opens the new task window over any app with Option + Space. Settings, About now has a "Mac app" card. Its "Download for Mac" button opens a call-out with the three steps to install it, including what macOS asks the first time you open it, and the download itself: the right file for your Mac when your browser can tell, both (Apple silicon and Intel) when it cannot. The sign-in screen has one quiet line that leads to the app's page. They only appear on a Mac, and never inside the Mac app itself.

🎨 The update window only offers the tour when it has something new to show. After an update, "Show me" appears only if the release added something the tour can point at. Otherwise there is no tour button: the whole tour is still in Settings, About.

🐛 Every project can be reached in the sidebar. The "Add task" area at the bottom grows with the sync line and the buttons it carries, and it was hiding the last projects of the list, which could not be scrolled into view. The list now keeps exactly as much room as that area takes, whatever the window height.

Unzip the whole thing at the site root, folders included.

Small things that were in the way.

🆕 Star a filter or a tag from its card. On the Filters and Tags pages, every card now has a star on its right, always visible. One click adds it to your favourites or removes it, in the app and in Todoist. It used to be only in the three-dot menu.

🎨 "What's new" says "since your last visit". After an update, the window no longer carries the number of the latest release in its title, which was misleading when several releases were listed. Each release keeps its own version heading.

🐛 You can type right after opening the icon picker. On a project or a filter, click the icon next to the title and start typing: the icons are filtered, instead of the search bar of the app opening.

Time, duration and repeat, without typing them.

🆕 Set a time, a duration and a repeat from the date picker. Under the date shortcuts, three lines: Time, Duration and Repeat. Type a time ("20h30", "8pm") or a duration ("45", "1h30") and the matching values are offered as you type. Repeat offers Todoist's usual rules (every day, every week on the same day, every workday, every month, every year) and "Custom…" for the rest: from the scheduled date or from completion, every N days, workdays, weeks, months or years, the weekdays, the day of the month and an end date. The rule is written in your language, exactly as Todoist receives it. It works in the new task window, a task's Schedule menu and the open task.

🎨 A repeating task shows its day with the repeat mark. In the new task window and in the open task, a task that repeats shows "↻ Tomorrow 09:30" instead of the rule's words, which you can read by hovering it. The open task no longer has a separate field to type the rule: everything is in the start date.

🐛 Changing the day keeps the time. A task set to "today 12:00" moved to tomorrow stays at 12:00, and a time picked without a day goes to tomorrow when it has already passed today.

🐛 Giving a repeat to a task no longer skips its first day. "Every day" given to a task due today starts today, not tomorrow, and changing the time of a repeating task keeps it on the same day.

🐛 A repeat with an end typed after a time keeps its end. "Every monday at 9am until 31/12" used to lose "until 31/12".

Your Todoist filters, and tags you can recolour.

🆕 Your Todoist filters are in the app. A new Filters entry in the sidebar lists your saved filters with their number of tasks. Open one and you get exactly the list Todoist shows for it, in its language and with all its syntax; a filter with commas shows one list per part. Starred filters sit in the sidebar Favourites. You can hide the entry in Settings, Sidebar.

🆕 Create, edit and organise filters here. "New filter" on the Filters page asks for a name, a query, a colour, an icon and the star. On a filter's page, rename it and edit its description in place, like a project. Drag filters to reorder them. The "⋯" menu edits, stars, copies a link or deletes. Every change reaches Todoist.

🆕 Change a tag's colour. On the Tags page, "New tag" creates a tag with its colour and star, and each tag's "⋯" menu changes its colour, stars it, copies its link or deletes it.

🎨 The What's new window is narrower, the same width as search.

A fix for the “Move to project” menu.

🐛 The “Move to project” menu keeps a sensible width. With a very long project or section name, the menu used to stretch across the whole window. It now stays narrow, cuts the long name with “…” and shows it in full when you hover it.

Fixes for what you reported, a clearer highlight while you type, and the Inbox with its sections.

🎨 What the app understood is easier to see while you type a task. In the new task window, the date, project, tag, priority and duration it recognised are now highlighted clearly instead of faintly, in light and dark, with the text still easy to read.

🎨 The sidebar settings say whether My week holds today's tasks. In Settings, Sidebar, and in the setup, the “My week” line now says “Includes today's tasks” while Today is unticked and “Does not include today's tasks” once you tick it, so you know what ticking Today changes.

🎨 Display only offers the tags of the page you are on. Instead of every tag you own, the tag filter lists the ones the tasks of that page carry (subtasks included), so it no longer grows into a long list that gets cut off. A tag you already chose stays there so you can turn it off.

🎨 The counts of favourite tags line up with the others. In the sidebar, the number next to a tag sat further left than the one next to a project; they now end on the same line.

🐛 The Inbox shows its sections. The sections you create in the Inbox in Todoist now appear in the app, and you can add, rename and fold them like in any other project.

🐛 “Move to project” works on a task that has no section. Choosing a project from a task's menu did nothing for tasks sitting outside a section, as most quick tasks and Inbox tasks do. They now move, with the message and Undo.

🐛 A tag with an emoji or an accent opens its tasks. Opening a tag such as 🏠Home showed 0 tasks because its name was lost in the address. The page now finds it, also after a reload, and names with a slash or a question mark work too.
