Fourth public beta of Auto Window Arranger.

What's new

  • Adds an independent Switch to the right of every added app.
  • Turning a Switch off keeps the app in the list and saves the setting, while excluding it from automatic monitoring, single-app arrangement, and combined arrangement.
  • Turning the Switch back on restores arrangement participation.
  • Improves automatic detection of closed and same-count replaced windows.
  • Adds a non-overlapping fallback when a three-window single-row layout is rejected by an app's minimum window size.

Validation

  • 125 automated tests passed.
  • The settings view passed automated layout and rendering checks in Aqua and Dark Aqua appearances. This is not a complete VM/CUA visual acceptance result.
  • Universal arm64 + x86_64 DMG signed with Developer ID, notarized by Apple, stapled, and accepted by Gatekeeper.
  • Requires macOS 14 or later. Intel hardware remains unverified.

Install

Download Auto-Window-Arranger.dmg, verify it with the accompanying SHA256 file, drag Auto Window Arranger to /Applications, then grant Accessibility access when prompted.
