First independent release of Use PowerShell Safely, a Codex Skill for
diagnosing and safely executing boundary-sensitive Windows shell workflows
across PowerShell, native executables, and WSL.
Highlights
- Publishes the independently versioned
junwei529/use-powershell-safelyrepository. - Preserves the installable five-file package byte for byte from the recorded
migration source. - Includes deterministic SOURCE qualification for pre-error selection,
native/process, text/encoding, Windows/WSL, permission, destructive, and stop
boundaries. - Includes an explicit-destination lifecycle tool with dry-run defaults and
disposable install, update, rollback, drift-refusal, foreign-copy-refusal,
and uninstall checks.
Evidence boundaries
- Local release readiness is verified for the accepted immutable candidate,
including bounded SOURCE-forward behavior for three frozen scenarios. - Publication does not by itself prove selection/load attribution,
installed-copy behavior, persistent lifecycle effects, a stable installed
copy, live WSL behavior, or broad product efficacy.
