This repo collects up font files for the OFL typeface Libre Baskerville New. Starting with the modifications and new weights made by Indian Type Foundry and adding back the original italic from Impallari Type, we now have a total of 5 OTF files, found in the fonts folder. (The four weights were built from the ITFoundry UFOs using fontmake version 2.3.1. The italic is built from an UFO converted from the original italic OTF file using FontForge.)

Libre Baskerville is a webfont family optimized for body text. It's Based on 1941 ATF Baskerville Specimens but it has a taller x-height, wider counters and less contrast that allow it to work on small sizes in any screen.
