This release brings a complete rewrite of the original tscp.sh script in native PowerShell syntax.

All functionality from the initial Bash version has been retained, but the script now follows proper PowerShell conventions and structure. This improves readability, reliability, and integration with the Windows environment.

Compared to the previous preview release, this version:

  • Uses idiomatic PowerShell syntax and practices
  • Handles arguments and execution flow more robustly
    • Fixes handling of files and folders with spaces in name or path
  • Prepares the script for future enhancements and better maintainability

This is now the recommended version for Windows users.

This release is a direct port of the original tscp.sh Bash script into PowerShell.
All function names and core logic remain intact, with only the minimal necessary changes made to ensure proper execution in a PowerShell environment.

This is not a full PowerShell rewrite. The current version still reflects the original Bash-style structure. A more idiomatic PowerShell version with improved syntax and structure is planned for a future release.

Known issues:

  • Does not handle files and folders with spaces in name or path

Initial tscp.sh script written in Bash. It was created solely for educational and experimental use.

In the future, I plan to develop a more robust and user-friendly version written entirely in PowerShell for a more native Windows experience.
