Just adding a datapoint, I am running into this on Linux 6.12.41 x86_64 unknown with the new gpt-5-codex model.

Thanks for the report. This is fixed in 0.2.153.

Spent quite a bit of time on this to improve the quality of the compact process. It should automatically kick in when needed as well.

Please upgrade with npm install -g @just-every/code@latest and let me know if you encounter any issues!
