Fox Hunt
WiFi>Sniffers>Fox Hunt
Bluetooth>Bluetooth Sniffers>Fox Hunt
Fox Hunt uses repeated signal-strength readings to help locate a previously detected radio target. Scan for the target type first, then open Fox Hunt and choose an item from the applicable target list.
WiFi target lists can include access points, stations, WiFi Pineapples, and MultiSSID devices. Bluetooth target lists can include BLE devices, Find My devices, and detected Flippers when those scans are supported by the build.
Beginning with v1.16.0, target lists provide consistent sorting, filtering, and refresh controls.
-
Signal: Strongest- strongest observed RSSI first -
Name/MAC: A-Z- alphabetical display name or MAC address -
Channel: Low-High- ascending WiFi channel when the target list has channel data
-
All- show every available target -
Seen in 30 Seconds- show recently observed targets when timestamps are available -
2.4 GHz- show targets on the 2.4 GHz WiFi band -
5 GHz- show targets on the 5 GHz WiFi band on dual-band hardware
Not every option applies to every target type. Marauder only displays filters and sorts supported by the current list.
- Run the appropriate WiFi or Bluetooth scan to populate a target list.
- Open the corresponding
Fox Huntmenu. - Choose a target category.
- Adjust
SortorFilterif needed, then selectRefresh List. - Select the desired target to begin live signal monitoring.
RSSI varies with antenna orientation, obstructions, reflections, transmit power, and target activity. Treat it as a relative proximity aid rather than an exact distance measurement.
