Optional zsh setup lets you keep typing ordinary codex and codex resume commands
while opening the existing agent-progress observer automatically inside Herdr.

brew update
brew upgrade agent-progress
ap shell install

Open a new terminal afterward. Outside Herdr and for management/non-interactive commands
such as exec, login and mcp, native Codex runs directly. Arguments remain unchanged.
command codex bypasses the optional function. Original executables and existing shell
definitions are preserved; native trust/login requirements are not bypassed.

ap shell preview/status/remove inspect and remove setup. The installer backs up exact
rc bytes, uses atomic replacement and refuses symlink targets or edited managed blocks.
Unrelated user edits survive removal. Other shells and programmatic launches bypassing
shell functions are outside this integration.

Validation: 93 Rust tests, fmt/Clippy, actual zsh quoting/routing/native-escape/removal tests,
and an actual bare codex resume invocation connecting native Codex 0.157.1 to server
0.158.0 with an automatic progress pane and preserved focus. The exact packaged installer
and remover passed. macOS arm64 package remains unsigned and unnotarized.
