First stable release of the Dashie integration for Home Assistant.

  • Sensors - Device state, battery level, screen brightness, and more
  • Binary sensors - Device connectivity and state monitoring
  • Switches - Screen on/off, kiosk mode, motion detection, and other toggles
  • Buttons - Restart, refresh, and action triggers
  • Number inputs - Brightness, volume, and numeric settings
  • Select inputs - Mode selection and dropdown controls

Installation via HACS

1. Open HACS in Home Assistant
2. Click the three dots menu → Custom repositories
3. Add: https://github.com/jwlerch78/dashie-ha-integration
4. Category: Integration
5. Click Add → Find "Dashie" → Download
6. Restart Home Assistant

Manual Installation

1. Download this release
2. Copy custom_components/dashie/ to your Home Assistant config/custom_components/ directory
3. Restart Home Assistant

• Home Assistant 2023.1 or newer
• Dashie Lite tablet on the same network
