What's New

Native Update Notifications 🔔

This release adds a native Home Assistant Update entity that shows available updates directly in Settings → System → Updates — no HACS required!

  • Automatically checks GitHub for new releases every 6 hours
  • Shows release notes directly in the Home Assistant UI
  • Works regardless of how you installed the integration (HACS, manual, etc.)

How It Works

After updating to v1.2.0, you'll see a new "Dashie Integration" device in your entities list with an "Integration Update" entity. When a new version is available, you'll see it in:

  • Settings → System → Updates
  • The Update card on your dashboard

Note: The update notification tells you a new version is available, but you still need to update through HACS or manually download the new release.
