Screen Off Improvements

  • Screensaver Mode: "Screen Off" option added — was previously missing from the integration, causing it to show as "unknown" when the device was set to Screen Off mode. You can now switch between Dim, Black, Screen Off, URL, Photos, and App directly from Home Assistant.

  • Screen Off Behavior select entity — new select.dashie_screen_off_behavior controls what happens when the sleep timer or API screenOff command turns off the screen:

    • Black Overlay: screen goes black but dashboard stays active (fast wake, connections stay alive)
    • Power Off Screen: real hardware screen off (saves power but may cause stale dashboard on some devices)

  • Foreground Service (Android 2.24.9+) — Dashie now runs a silent foreground service to prevent aggressive OEMs (Xiaomi/MIUI, Huawei/EMUI) from killing the app during screen off.

  • Faster WebSocket reconnect on wake — immediate connection check and forced reconnect when the screen wakes, with staleness detection and automatic page reload fallback.

  • Frigate clip transcode proxy (720p for tablets)
  • FFmpeg transcode optimization for faster clip start
