pitcher 2.6.0 for Android is about sound, saving, and the timeline. Download pitcher-android-v2.6.0.apk below and open it on your phone (Android 10 or newer). It installs over 2.5 and keeps your library.

Sound

• Saved files now sound exactly like the preview. Saving uses Sonic, the same engine as playback.
• Kept pitches render in the background with flat memory use, so long songs no longer run out of memory.
• Playback pauses for calls and other audio apps, and stops when headphones are unplugged.

Pitches and files

• One pill per pitch. When you are on a pitch you have not kept, a dashed pill stands for it. Tap it to keep the pitch. When you reach a kept pitch, its pill lights up instead.
• Tap a kept pitch to play it, and tap the playing one to save it as a file. Hold a pitch to rename, share, cancel, or remove it.
• Every pitch works on its own, so saving one never blocks another.
• Save at your current play speed, or only your enabled loops.
• Save file shows Saved until something changes, and Share reuses the saved file instead of rendering again.
• The format is a knob that rolls with your finger, and the folder shows by name.

Timeline

• Loop edges and bookmarks can be grabbed and dragged at any zoom.
• Tap a loop to select it. Hold a loop or a bookmark to rename or delete it. Names show on the waveform.
• Scrubbing moves the playhead under your finger and plays from there when you let go.
• The playhead shows its time, and follow keeps it in view while zoomed.
• A loop that ends at the end of the song keeps repeating.
• Waveforms are saved, so a song opens right away the second time.

Studio

• A tuner button. Detected notes keep their exact cents, and the interval is named.
• A cleaner transport with icon controls, and the interval shown above the cents.
• Smoother pitch control, a working original pill, safer deleting, and back navigation from the Library.
