WAND not opening after patch to 12.50

anyone having issues enhancing to 12.50? WAND doesn't want to open anymore and only works if I restore it. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled, applied the patch, but nothing happens.

Same result here. I tried Enhancer 1.0.9.2 - .3 and .4 just in case. Once the patch is applied, Wand no longer opens under any reason.

The in-game interface won't open (Alt+W).
After using it 3–5 times, the mods fail to connect and throw an error (on version v12.50). I followed your instructions to the letter.

I think k1tbyte’s RC and the gorlock777 build already cover a lot of people.

If you’d rather not fork and run Actions (those artifacts expire) or the fix is not working for you, I keep a smaller Python rewrite with normal GitHub Releases. Python 3 on PATH, nothing else to install.

Use a clean WeMod install. Patching on top of an existing wand enhancer patch may conflict.

Ok great job @gorlock777 your fix works. I just turned it on and made sure to turn off updates from now on also. Before it (Wand WeMod) would not launch or load once I used the patch, unpatched and restored it would work again but now with your Gorlock777/Wand-Enhancer fix it works as it should thank you very much for you fix it is highly appreciated 🙏🏽❤️💯

Ok everyone, thanks to @gorlock777 we have a temporary solution until the repo merges this update with the original WANDENHANCER. I just tested it and it works. Basically he recreated WANDHANCER with his fix. here is the link for the download. https://github.com/gorlock777/Wand-Enhancer/actions/runs/33081570400/artifacts/9650310445 . just extract it and it will look like the original. enhance and you should be pro!

This does work, but hitting the keys to set the cheats on is taking a couple of minutes. So doing it manually is best choice.

had to reinstall to use this version linked. using an updated version from a preinstalled copy of Wand/WeMod broke it somehow, also had to allow an exception in my Antivirus software (im aware i dont need one due to windows defender being good enough, this is literally to stop windows defender flagging everything i look at as a virus)

when i ran it with the updates stopped and in the gorlock777 wand model it says wandauxiliaryservice.exe is denied? and then the enhancer doesnt work anymore on wand

The launch failure should be fixed in 2.0.0.0-rc.1

To try it sync your fork and build it as usual but select feature/rc_v_2.0.0.0

For the fork with the Feature you have to uncheck "copy only master" at the forking. If not you are not able to use the feature. I forgot to uncheck it the first time. So I deleted my "old" fork and made a new one - this time I unchecked the "copy only master" and then build the Artifact new but switched it from master to feature. I hope this helps. My english is not the best.

this worked. only 1 problem i noticed. the hotkeys are very delayed. i mean very delayed. and i cant change them for some reason. for example i like using numpad because most games dont use numpad for anything. when i click to change hotkeys it changes to something super random.

i didnt try that yet. ill double check i think it is. but mine was bad. like im talking took a good 10+ minutes then suddenly the mod was turning off and on off and on ect lol. i think the only option for now is to turn hotkeys off and manually press it since you can press to activate with pro

I saw some comments that gorlock777's version didn't work or just work for sometimes then don't. I think from wand's team knew about this enhancer and work on it so nobody can pass it for free😟

Im seeing the same issue, i restored wand to 12.49.00 and got enhancer from Master 2.0.0.0

After 2.1.0.0, Its working perfectly! I am still on 12.49.00 and deleted the update file within WeMod folder to be safe :) Thank you again for the hard work!

The update goes through fine for me, no errors, but if I start the game, after a while the game crashes, and it doesn't matter if I start the game through the wand, or if I start the wand only after the game is already running.
When I play the game without the wand, the game doesn't crash. It just doesn't show any errors, as if something completely shut down the game.
And then my wand also switched to the non-pro version by itself and it does this on version 12.52.00.
I'll probably go back to 12.49.00 and wait until all the problems are resolved.

i may have found the answer to what is happening there is some thing that comes iup in the files and its called sqirrl delet it and then try opening it up and then you guys do your magic be cause i thionk thats whats messing with we mod i deleted it and it looks like that is whats happening that false app is whats cause ing us to not be able to use it

I tested Wand Enhancer with the latest WAND versions. The mod works up to WAND 12.49.0:

With all newer versions, the app no longer launches when Wand Enhancer is applied.
