First public alpha of awgx: an AmneziaWG 3.1 server in one binary.

Alpha. Commands, the state format and defaults can still change between releases. Please open an issue when something breaks.

Install

sudo awgx setup

Use awgx-linux-arm64 on ARM servers. Debian 12/13 and Ubuntu 24.04 with the kernel module from the Amnezia PPA.

What is inside

  • awgx setup: from a clean server to a working one with a client QR code
  • web UI: dashboard, peers with QR and vpn://, traffic charts, egress, doctor, backups, updates
  • obfuscation presets balanced, stealth, speed and I1 profiles quic, stun, dns
  • egress: cascades through other AmneziaWG servers, SOCKS5 and 3x-ui, with killswitch, failover and rollback
  • peer traffic in its own network namespace, the host firewall stays as it is
  • doctor, perf diagnostics, rate limits, statistics, signed self-update, backup and restore
