v0.1.1
Hosting a session now actually works.
In 0.1.0 the lobby screen drew correctly and there was no session behind it: the
status line read OFFLINE and the slot buttons opened no invite, because there was
nothing to invite anyone to.
Fixed
- Only Steam lobbies this mod opened are tracked. Steam reports every lobby
the process joins, and the game uses one for its own fireteam. The mod was
recording the game's lobby as its own and then refusing to create a session,
complaining about a lobby it had never opened. - Opening a lobby no longer needs the engine command binding. Those calls
matter when a match launches, not when people are gathering. - Your mode, map and settings are carried into the session instead of being
left blank. - The status panel and server browser show their text. Values were being
written where the game had already stopped reading them.
What you get
The top right of the lobby now reports the network, the session and the version.
With the lobby open your session is live, listed, and people can be invited
straight into it from the empty player slots.
Still not done
Two people have never been in one lobby together. Everything here was tested
alone, and that remains the next thing.
Updating
If you are on 0.1.0 you do not need to do anything: the mod downloads this in the
background and installs it the next time you start the game.
