Damascene Studio is now Damask Studio, following the theme's new name.

  • New plugin id: damask-studio. On first run it imports everything saved by Damascene Studio: settings, habits, layouts, folder colours, focus history and the TickTick connection. Once it is running, turn Damascene Studio off and remove it.
  • Old damascene-home blocks keep rendering.
  • The default heading preset is now called Damask; saved settings are converted.

Install: Settings → Community plugins → Browse, search for Damask Studio. Or download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css into .obsidian/plugins/damask-studio/.

A cleanup fix, ahead of the community directory.

  • Clean switch-off. Turning the plugin off, or only its palette module, now removes the palette classes it added to the page, so the theme falls back to its defaults right away. If Style Settings is running, the classes stay, because they are its palette choice too.
  • Tests for applying and clearing the palette classes.

Install: download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css into .obsidian/plugins/damascene-studio/, then enable Damascene Studio in Settings → Community plugins.

The first public release of Damascene Studio, the companion plugin for the Damascene theme. It works with any theme.

  • A live home dashboard: greeting, quote of the day, habits, open tasks, task and focus statistics and an activity map.
  • A block gallery for every callout, quote, panel and divider; type ;; in a note for an inline picker.
  • Embed layouts for images and Excalidraw drawings: align, resize, float, frame and caption.
  • Folder and heading colours, a focus timer, habits kept in daily notes, and a health check.
  • A control panel where every module has a switch and every visual option has an animated preview.
  • Optional TickTick sync, off by default; without it, task and focus statistics come from your notes.
  • English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Turkish, with right-to-left layout for Arabic.

Install: download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css into .obsidian/plugins/damascene-studio/, then enable Damascene Studio in Settings → Community plugins.
