New version V3 is separated from V2 because it has additional dependencies and additional models. Models from V3 are still backward compatible with V2 version.
V3 stores both in-memory and in database. Ingredients and Denomination are stored in-memory first so we can compute drinks calculation faster. After all calculations are done, there is a transaction to database to store all values and in same transaction in-memory is also stored. If any calculations fail, nothing will be saved.
- Logging has been added with package: sirupsen/logrus
- Overall and custom endpoint metrics has been added with package: prometheus/promhttp
- Config has been added with package: spf13/viper
- Authorization has been added for all endpoints except consume with package: jwt/v4
- DB layer has been added with support for postgresql with GORM
