EdgeSnap 0.43 beta

A snapped window that you drag away by its title bar, and let go away
from the edges, now gets back the size it had before it was snapped. It
comes back under the pointer, which keeps its place along the title bar,
as on Windows, and this works for every zone: a half, a quarter, the
whole screen. A window you resized after snapping it keeps its size, and
so does one let go with the bypass key held. If you would rather keep the
snapped size, untick "Old size when dragged away" in the preferences.

A seam between windows kept apart by a gap, as a tiling window manager
lays them out, keeps the gap when you drag it, and the whole gap lights
up and can be grabbed, not only a thin strip in its middle.

• A click on a seam without a drag no longer moves anything.
• The seams are handled on the screen in front only.

For programmers, edgesnap.library 2.24 appends three calls for tiling
window managers: ESnap_QueryDividers lists the seams between the
windows of a layout group, each with a token that names its windows,
ESnap_MoveDividerT moves a seam by its token alone, and
ESnap_QueryDividerWindows gives the serials of all its windows. The
divider calls of 2.2 and 2.3 now take in a group's windows, never offer a
seam of a group locked for the caller, and MoveDividerAt follows the
seam its task last asked about. ES_OPT_DragRestore switches the drag
that gives a window its old size back. The contract of every call is in
include/edgesnap.h.

I checked it on real MorphOS hardware, on a Raspberry Pi 400 with AROS
aarch64, and under emulation on AmigaOS 4.1, MorphOS, AROS One 1.3
x86_64 and AROS One x86; on the Pi and under emulation by installing the
package over an earlier version.
