Your Mac can now tell you when it's going back to sleep — and you can release it from anywhere.

  • Pre-sleep sound cues (Settings ▸ When sleep resumes) — an audible cue plays the moment before a closed-lid Mac resumes sleeping, with a distinct motif for each reason: work complete, hold expired, safety cutout, or released by you. Pick a sound (or silence) per cause, with previews. Because Adrafinil is the sleep gate, the cue is played out before sleep is unblocked — it can never be cut off by the sleep it announces. (#8)
  • adrafinil release --all — the SSH counterpart of the menu bar's force release: drop every keep-awake hold in one command, no hunting for hold keys via status. The daemon attributes it to you, so a closed-lid remote release is acknowledged with the "released by you" cue.
