Phosphene 1.2

Seamless wallpaper switching. Changing between video wallpapers now swaps instantly — no black flash and no blink during the transition.

Fixes

  • Selecting a Phosphene wallpaper a second time from System Settings → Wallpaper no longer reverts the desktop to the macOS default wallpaper (#13).
  • Fixed the wallpaper turning black when switching Spaces or revealing the lock screen — each Space and the lock-screen surface now render independently instead of stealing one shared surface.

Under the hood

  • Only the visible wallpaper surface decodes video; off-screen Spaces idle, lowering CPU and power use.
