Release list
Piru for Android 1.0 — alpha 2
The first Android build of Piru: the iOS app's own code, compiled for Android. It is an alpha, so expect rough edges, and keep an export of your journal.
Install
Download Piru-1.0-a2.apk below and open it on your phone (allow installs from your browser or file manager when Android asks). To get updates automatically, add https://github.com/kageroumado/piru to Obtainium and filter releases by android-.
Every Piru APK is signed with the same key. Before installing, you can check it:

Android 9 or later, 64-bit ARM.
Moving in
Tools ▸ Data & Backup ▸ Import reads Piru exports, encrypted Piru backups (.piruenc, from iPhone too) and PsychonautWiki Journal's export file, so your history comes with you.
What works
Logging (quick log, My Meds and their reminders), the journal and its timeline, sessions, the library of 1,700+ substances, search, the interaction checker and the other tools, insights, import and export, encrypted backups, English, Spanish and Chinese.
Not in this build
Skins, widgets, the Live Activity, the watch app and Health Connect. A few things look plainer than on iOS: image sharing does nothing yet, and some menus behave like Android's rather than iOS's.
Your data
Your journal stays on your phone. Android's cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are switched off for Piru, and the app asks for no internet access. To move to a new phone, export from Data & Backup.

Source
Built from 9d49de1073c443ced21c85eeae93ff15c2efca46. The Android build lives in android/; its README explains how the iOS code becomes the Android app.
Piru 1.0
Piru for Mac, running natively on macOS 26: the same journal, substance library and interaction checker as the iPhone app. Universal build (Apple silicon and Intel), signed with Developer ID and notarized.
Open the DMG and drag Piru into Applications.
Not medical advice.
Substance database (rolling)
Current bundled substance database, fetched by Tools/fetch-db.sh at build time. Rolling tag: the asset is replaced on each data pass and the tracked Piru/Data/manifest.json holds the checksum it is verified against.
