You do not need to be an expert in computers or programming to use ShieldOps. This guide will help you get it running on a Windows computer step by step.
Before you start, make sure your Windows PC meets these needs:
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
- At least 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended)
- 2 GB free space on your hard drive
- Internet connection for updates and downloads
- Administrator rights on your PC for installation
ShieldOps runs on most modern Windows computers. If your system is older or slow, it may take longer to run or miss some functions.

- Open your web browser.

- Look for a section called "Releases" in the page menu (usually on the right or top).
- Find the latest version of ShieldOps listed under "Releases."
- Under the latest release, look for a file that ends with
.exe. This is the installer for Windows. - Click the
.exefile to download it to your PC.
- Once downloaded, find the file in your "Downloads" folder.
- Double-click the file to start the installation.
- Follow the on-screen instructions:

- Choose the folder where you want ShieldOps installed (use the default if unsure)
- Complete the installation steps

- Press the “Start Scan” button.
- ShieldOps will check your systems for problems.

- You can click on each item to learn more about what it means.
- The app will give suggestions for fixing issues automatically or manually.

If ShieldOps does not start or run properly:

- Verify the systems you connected are powered on and reachable.
- Confirm login details or permissions have not changed.
