Added

  • Native memory and observation hooks for Codex, Gemini CLI, and Kimi CLI. captain-memo connect now capability-probes each installed CLI and, where supported, installs prompt injection,
    PostToolUse capture, and turn-end flushing without replacing foreign hooks. Codex follows its
    effective hooks feature value, Gemini follows its experimental hooks command and settings, and
    Kimi is gated at the vendor's 1.28.0 hook introduction.
  • Native delivery is visible in worker stats. /stats.capture.native counts proven Codex,
    Gemini, and Kimi sessions, while native hook events carry explicit vendor provenance into the same
    observation pipeline used by Claude Code and transcript capture.

  • Native hooks and transcript readers now form one backwards-compatible capture path. Installing
    a hook never disables fallback by itself. Only a native PostToolUse event successfully accepted by
    the worker marks that exact session native, after which the transcript/rollout reader skips it to
    prevent duplicate observations. Older, disabled, untrusted, and failed hook installations continue
    working through their existing readers automatically.
  • Agy and Ollama use the capture layer that owns the useful evidence. Agy 1.1.11's documented
    native PostToolUse payload lacks tool input/results, so Captain Memo retains its richer conversation
    capture. Ollama is a model/tool-calling server rather than the agent lifecycle owner, so Captain
    Memo observes whichever connected agent hosts the Ollama loop.

Fixed

  • The distributable hook bundle dispatches exactly one handler. Bun flattens imported hook
    modules into the bundle and reports the entry as import.meta.main inside each one; their legacy
    direct-run guards could therefore race to consume the same stdin. Dispatcher bundles are now
    excluded from those guards, with an end-to-end native PostToolUse regression test.
  • Cold-starting Gemini installs its supported hooks reliably. The capability check now uses the
    existing CLI wiring deadline rather than the fast PATH-probe ceiling; a live 0.25.0 install took
    just over five seconds and previously degraded to transcript capture despite supporting hooks.
