Dimmer now speaks Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Japanese, following your Mac's language.

  • The menu bar panel, Settings, the welcome, About and the uninstall guide are all translated. Any other language falls back to English.
  • Settings can be made wider and remembers its size, and longer labels wrap rather than being cut off.
  • Everything else works as in 1.2.0, and your settings carry over.

One universal app for macOS 14 or later, signed with a Developer ID and notarised by Apple. Tested on a 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Max (MacBookPro18,2) on macOS 27.2; Intel is untested.

Download Dimmer-1.2.1.dmg below, open it and drag Dimmer to Applications, replacing 1.2.0. Check it against SHA256SUMS with shasum -a 256 Dimmer-1.2.1.dmg.

The privacy shortcut uses KeyboardShortcuts by Sindre Sorhus (MIT).
