UniConvert User Privacy Choices

Effective Date: April 12, 2026

Your Data, Your Control

UniConvert does not collect any personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of. However, you have full control over the data stored locally on your device.

Exchange Rate Data

UniConvert fetches currency exchange rates from public APIs to provide live conversion results.

Your choices:

  • Control fetch frequency — Go to Settings and choose how often rates are refreshed (hourly, every 6 hours, every 12 hours, daily, or weekly)
  • Stop all network requests — Enable Airplane Mode or disable network access for UniConvert in iOS Settings > Cellular. The app will continue to work using cached rates.

Saved Conversions (Favorites)

Your saved conversions are stored only on your device and are never transmitted.

Your choices:

  • Delete individual favorites — Swipe left on any favorite to delete it
  • Delete multiple favorites — Tap Edit on the Favorites tab, select items, and tap Delete
  • Delete all app data — Uninstall UniConvert from your device. All locally stored data (favorites, cached rates, settings) is permanently removed

Settings

Your preferences (such as fetch interval) are stored locally using UserDefaults.

Your choices:

  • Reset settings — Uninstalling and reinstalling the app resets all preferences to defaults

No Accounts or Tracking

UniConvert does not require an account, does not use cookies, and does not track you across apps or websites. There are no opt-in or opt-out choices for tracking because no tracking exists.

Apple App Privacy

In accordance with Apple's App Privacy requirements, UniConvert declares:

Data Linked to You None
Data Not Linked to You None
