CoreDeck v0.14.0
CoreDeck v0.14.0
A new CoreDeck release is available. Here's what's changed in this version.
What's New
- Add a dedicated APK Analyzer workspace with package metadata, API requirements, architectures, permissions, searchable file trees, size and alignment details, APK comparison, drag-and-drop, recent files, emulator installation, and package-based Logcat integration; fall back to ZIP file listing when needed while preserving available results
- Add background Environment Checks for SDK, Java, ADB, emulator, licenses, system images, and disk space, with localized diagnostics and setup shortcuts; avoid false failures from valid command-line tool help output
- Move SDK/JDK validation, first-run verification, and AVD/image list refreshes off the UI thread, preserving selections and live options while rejecting stale results and retaining existing lists on failure
- Support newer SDK package identifiers, license messages, and progress formats; harden SDK and AVD operations with exit-status checks, timeouts, shutdown cancellation, broken-pipe protection, and Windows batch argument handling
- Improve update downloads with network and file-write checks, cancellable checksum verification, exception handling, and a startup update-check preference; prevent cancelled updates from opening installers
- Safely replace saved settings, SDK paths, AVD options, and shared-folder snapshots, fix storage scan failures and incorrect size totals, and support custom asset directories through

avdmanager --helpreturns valid output with a nonzero exit code, and provide more specific, localized diagnostics - Improve SDK and system image task reliability with command timeouts, shutdown cancellation, exception handling, and exit-status checks; refresh image lists in the background after installation or removal, preserve existing lists on refresh failure, and restore selections by package name
- Harden update downloads with network timeouts, cancellable checksum retrieval, HTTP status validation on Windows, and checks for file write failures
- Save application settings, SDK path overrides, AVD options, and shared-folder sync snapshots without deleting or truncating the previous destination before replacement
- Separate environment probing and AVD catalog management from unrelated UI code, delegate SDK/JDK/image task cleanup to their modules, consolidate repeated cancellation logic, and avoid rereading cached AVD options while preserving live edits

- Support newer Android SDK package identifiers with slash separators, normalize package paths for installed-state matching and deduplication, and recognize updated license messages and download/extraction progress formats
- Refresh AVD lists in the background, preserve the selected device and in-memory options, discard superseded refresh results, and retain the previous list when refresh commands fail or time out
- Move SDK path validation and discovery, together with JDK version checks, off the Preferences UI thread, cache path checks, and prevent outdated results from enabling configuration actions
- Reuse background SDK/JDK checks during first-run setup and perform post-install SDK verification and directory switching asynchronously before allowing setup to continue
- Add Simplified Chinese translations for environment checks and background-operation feedback while preserving the existing interface style and installation workflows
