Prompt Token Counter (Text-Driven) UI Restoration

  • Widget Definition Rollback: Completely rolled back unnecessary layout mutations to restore the original, proven addWidget text-field design (token_count_display). The read-only text bar now displays and aligns exactly as intended.
  • Node ID 0 Edge-Case Fix: Refactored the internal payload transmission logic between Python and JavaScript. The backend now securely dispatches token updates to the UI without blocking instances where the node's unique ID evaluates to 0.
  • Real-Time Canvas Synchronicity: Fixed a breaking issue where the color-coded feedback background failed to dynamically update upon executing prompts. Color states (Green/Yellow/Red) now refresh instantly in perfect sync with the queue.

📄 Documentation & Metadata Improvements

  • README Integration: Formally updated the main repository documentation, integrating the functional purpose and mechanical breakdown of the Prompt Token Counter into the core Workflow Guide and Included Nodes sections.
  • Package Manifest Standardization: Enriched the pyproject.toml descriptor to explicitly feature the token tracking and chunk-degradation prevention capabilities, ensuring accurate indexing for the ComfyUI Manager and ComfyUI Registry sync cycles.

This release establishes a production-ready ecosystem designed to streamline prompt management, introduce modular control over long prompt stacks, and integrate real-time visual safety metrics for Stable Diffusion workflows.

🚀 Key Highlights & New Innovations

1. Prompt Token Counter (Text-Driven) — New!

Never blindly cross the "75-token wall" again. This node introduces a lightning-fast, highly optimized approximation algorithm tailored for Stable Diffusion 1.5 and SDXL to monitor prompt length on every generation run.

  • Canvas 2D Native Rendering: Completely bypasses brittle HTML text-box limitations. The color code is painted directly onto the node canvas, rendering seamlessly through pan and zoom cycles.
  • Dynamic Traffic-Light System:
    • Green (≤ 65 tokens): Safe zone. Prompt fits perfectly in the first text encoder chunk.
    • Yellow (66–75 tokens): Warning zone. Approaching the physical chunk limits.
    • Red (≥ 76 tokens): Critical danger zone. Visually warns that text will be sliced into downstream sections, risking degraded attention weights or image breakdown.

2. Text Line Prompt (Text-Driven) — New!

An innovative IDE-like prompt editing core that transforms multi-line prompts into a highly interactive, structural array.

  • Bi-Directional Real-Time Sync: Modifying multipliers or toggling active/inactive states via the GUI dropdown menu automatically rewires and rewrites the raw text field instantly.
  • Smart Muting: Deactivating specific lines automatically prepends // to comment them out, smoothly bypassing backend execution while preserving your prompt blueprints.

📦 Complete Node Ecosystem (9 Specialized Nodes)

With this release, the suite provides a fully balanced array of 9 core nodes categorized under text-driven logic:

  1. Join Strings: Concatenates fragments utilizing ComfyUI V3 native Autogrow.
