First public release.

Install (Apple Silicon):

brew tap karanb192/tap
brew trust karanb192/tap
brew install --cask hindcast
xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Hindcast.app   # one-time fix until the app is notarized

Or download the DMG below. The app is not yet notarized (Developer ID in progress); macOS will warn on first launch, and the xattr command clears it. A signed release will follow.

What it does: browses, searches, and replays every Claude Code session on your Mac: timeline scrubber, full-text search with jump-to-moment, cost ledger with globally deduplicated usage, subagent reels, markdown/HTML export. Read-only and local-first. It never touches the API.

The 30-second film is attached (hindcast-explainer.mp4).
